Too Many Pumpkins

When Rebecca Estelle was a little girl, for one whole month all she had to eat were pumpkins. After all these years, she has white hair now, she doesn't even want to look at a pumpkin. But one day the pumpkin truck spills a pumpkin into her yard and leaves. Rebecca Estelle tries to weed it out, ignore it, and starts using the back door so she never has to look at it. Then the day comes when she goes to rake up the black walnut tree's leaves and she sees pumpkins -too many pumpkins. Some people make lemonade out of lemons. Rebecca Estelle makes pumpkin tarts, pumpkin pudding, pumpkin muffins....you get the idea. This is a fun read aloud but know that it has a fair amount of text.
