The Fairies' Promise: Wishes and Wings

There was a time when faerie and humans lived side by side in peace, but long ago old Lord Dunraven had made a law that forbid magical creatures from having any contact with humans. As a young fairy, Alida had enjoyed a charmed life as a fairy princess, but when the law was passed, Alida was kidnapped and imprisoned in Lord Dunraven’s castle. After a long imprisonment, she meets and is befriended by a brave young human boy named Gavin, who risks breaking the law to free her.

Now back with her fairy community, Alida lives in fear of being recaptured, but her mother, the queen, has decided that the time has come for the fairies to defy the law, and return to their previous homeland, even though it lies only three days travel from Lord Dunraven’s castle. With Gavin’s help, the fairy troop sets off on the journey back to their ancient home. But can the fairies live so close to the castle and remain hidden? And can they live peacefully so close to other human settlements?
