From New York Times bestselling and award-winning author-illustrator Mark Teague comes a hilarious whodunit picture book about something suspicious afoot on Old MacDonald’s farm!

Something mysterious—and silly!—is up at Old MacDonald’s farm. Thank goodness Officer Busby is on the case, because, as she says, “Whoever did this knew their business.” Silly business, that is. What could possibly be going on? Well, it’s April 1st. And everyone knows what that means…---from the publisher

Farms, farms, farms.  What are we going to do with them? Remember when the cows started typing?  And the duck ran for president?  I tell ya - you never know what is going to happen next on a farm and this farmer is having just that kind of a day.

Spotting suspicious behavior, our farmer has summoned Officer Busby, the local animal control officer.  This isn't Officer Busby's first rodeo either.  She knows or at least suspects that when there's been trouble on the farm it is most likely the rabbit - you know, the one in the blue coat. But, not this time.

It's 8:02 a.m. and things are off to a rough start.  As our noble farmer and his trusty animal control officer search the farm for clues to solve the mystery, we watch as a parade of wonderful craziness marches through the pages.  We're talking ducks tails up and stacks of pizza boxes.  We're even talking about cabbages- what about the cabbages you wonder?   Only the reader knows....

What becomes perfectly clear is that there are perpetrators on this farm - yes perpetrators and that starts with a "p" and rhymes with ...  well, you know.

Officer Busby is not amused... but we are... this is awesome sauce.  This is farm gone fun.  This is ... yes, check the calendar... yes, this is April 1.

A whole gaggle of fun on the farm thanks to our dear author, Mark Teague.  Let the mustaches be drawn.
