So ...who do you believe?  Who do you trust?

Mina is a mouse with a pretty good life. Not much bothers her from day to day. Her father brings home all kinds of things and all kinds of creatures but none of it ruffles the fur of Mina the mouse until the day.... until the day...he brings home a cat. Mina knows a cat when she sees a cat.  But her father tells her differently. This is no cat he says.

A daughter wants to believe her father. A daughter wants to believe her father is always right and that her father knows all.  But Mina has that funny feeling inside.  That feeling that maybe this time ..this time..it's Mina who is right.

What does a daughter do when what her father is assuring her goes against everything she can see for herself to be true?  What do we do when what our family is teaching us to believe turns out to go against what we can see to be true?  Maybe you need to decide for yourself sometimes.

A playful book about a pair of mice with a HUGE lesson to teach.
