After finally conquering his multiplication tables in 7 x 9 = Trouble!, Wilson Williams thinks his math struggles are over.  In this fun follow up, Wilson discovers something worse in the world of numbers—fractions!  Trying to be helpful, Wilson’s parents hire a math tutor for him, but Wilson does not see this as a good thing.  He is convinced he is the only student in his third grade class who is struggling and does not want any of his fellow classmates to know he has to be tutored—especially his best friend Josh.  Josh knows Wilson is keeping something from him, and this upsets him.  Will Wilson’s secret destroy their friendship?  The story moves quickly and holds the reader’s interest not only with the story of Wilson’s fraction struggles, but also with the side story of the upcoming school science fair.  This delightful book is great for students who have ever struggled with math as well as the ones who whizzed right through it.  Wilson is a loveable character that a reader will easily connect with, and care about.
