Dr. Seuss's Green Eggs and Ham With 12 Silly Sounds

dr seuss green eggs and ham 12 silly sounds

Yep it's a classic - Sam I Am - Green Eggs and Ham - we all know the glorious fun of reading this one out loud.... but..... well...  you know I guess sometimes we have to admit that our young listener needs a little something more... needs more than our wonderful storytime voice ... to really captivate them and make a book amazingly fun!

This book my friends is one of those books with the little something extra.  Open it wide and there is Sam-I-Am in full form...but next to him is a little box with a small picture...and if you look up on that page you'll see the buffet of small pictures waiting for you.  You ...or more likely your young listener...finds the matching picture in the "buffet" and he/she/they pushes the picture... et voila!   Sam, himself, states firmly, "No, No, No."  He says it aloud.... your young listener can hear him quite clearly.

As the pages turn, 12 silly sounds appear one page at a time.  You do get to read the story and the young listener does get to push the buttons and the doorbell rings and the train whistle sounds...well, you get the idea.  What will the next sound be?
