Two sisters, Molly and Meg, are moving into a new, small house out in the country, so Dad can write his book. Molly, 15, is the beautiful sister, the cheerleader, the one with the great new boyfriend. Meg, 13, is growing up and exploring herself and her neighborhood. Part of her exploring takes her into a new hobby, photography, with her neighbor, Will Banks, a man in his 70's. Then Molly gets sick. At first it's just bloody noses, and then, one night, blood is everywhere, and Molly has to go into the hospital. It's a thoughtful and poignant journey for all.
