At a local auction, Tessa Brody and her widowed father buy a box of ancient books for their store. Tessa finds an old tapestry with the books. When she pulls a loose thread, she becomes enmeshed in the fabric and drawn into the world of medieval England. Tessa has unknowingly released a curse, and now she and William de Chauncy, a nobleman from the past, must figure out a way to put an end to the evil Norn sisters [also known as the Fates] before they destroy her life and keep her trapped in the past.
Part fantasy and part time travel, this book will appeal to the reader who wants a book of romance that involves the present as well as the past.
