Uh-Oh Said the Crow

Uh-Oh Said the Crow

It's nighttime in the barn and all the animals are snug and asleep in the hay. Suddenly there is a loud thud. "Uh-Oh," cawed Crow. All the animals wake up and the sound keeps coming at them. Is it spooks? Is there something out there that is coming to get them? The suspense builds until they are so scared that no one can sleep. Someone is going to have to go up there and find out what is going on. Crow suggests they draw straws but no one seems to like the idea. So, it's up to Crow to go see what the scary noise is. The comical expressions on the animals' faces will delight the young readers even as they feel the tension and the scary feeling of the unknown.
