Tia Isa Wants a Car

Tia Isa Wants a Car

As her brother points out to her, Tia Isa is not a wealthy woman. Tia sends money to her family, but she really wants a car so they can have the freedom to visit the beach. Tia’s niece is young, but not too young to surprise her aunt and help earn money for the car. What can a small child do to earn money? She helps a shopkeeper, feeds a neighbor’s cats, and teaches Spanish to the local librarian. What a sense of accomplishment for everyone as the dream comes true and off they all go on their first trip to the sea.
