The 39 Clues, Book 7: The Viper's Nest

Amy and Dan Cahill and their au pair, Nellie, find themselves in Africa after narrowly escaping the police in Indonesia. They are tracking down a clue left by Winston Churchill, a member of the Lucian clan. During their adventure, they are chased by their relatives, the Holts. Thanks to some unexpected help by an African soccer team and one of their relatives, Amy and Dan are able to get away. They discover the clue connects Winston Churchill to Shaka Zulu, an African tribal leader. They are helped by Professor Beardsley, a friend of their grandmother. However, Dan is in danger of dying and it’s up to Amy to save him. Another clue from their grandmother sends them on to the next part of the adventure.

I highly recommend this book for Middle Readers and Older Readers. However, Mature Readers will like it too. Each book in the series leads the reader on to the next book.
