I grew up reading the "Dick and Jane" series. For most children of my generation, we did not have access to reading material that represented us or our own environment. So I was delighted to come across "Tai the Rhino: A Bee in the Nose" which is a children's book that not only serves to entertain but educate about animals and conservation. The book is written and illustrated by Pamela Phuti.
Tai The Rhino is a lovable rhino who is the star of this truly delightful story about a young rhino's adventures at the watering hole. It is a children's book about courage, friendship and forgiveness, with animal facts and puzzles that is both entertaining and educational. A perfect resource for the parents of children seven years old and above. Pamela's work on the Tai the Rhino children’s book series is inspired by her desire to entrench the conservation of wildlife in today’s little minds so that tomorrow’s generations can enjoy our natural heritage. Tai the Rhino: A Bee in the Nose is the first book in the series.
