The day is off to its usual rough start at Roscoe's house. Roscoe is a first grader who has a tough time remembering the rules. He comes from a normal family that starts the day with a juice box war, a father with only one sock, a dog with a suspiciously full stomach, and a mom hanging from the roof in pursuit of a shoe. It's that special day when the parents come to school for a visit, and Roscoe tries to help, using a tube of superglue.
