There has come a time in Park's life when he wants answers to his questions. He is coming of age, and he needs to know more about the man who was his father. Since his father was killed in Vietnam, the Vietnam War Memorial stirs questions in Park. He has to turn to his grandfather and the remnants of his family. These are people he has never known. Finally his mother allows them to meet and with powerful, poignant exchange, all lives find healing and perhaps light.
