  1. Lizzie, Ella, and Betsey Best always thought they were triplets until one day a shocking family secret came to light. They were not triplets they were clones made from the same person known as the Original. Then one day something happens and their mother whisks them away to a new life and now they each live one-third of the day as one person – Elizabeth Best.

One lives the morning, one the afternoon and one the evening. This has worked for years until Lizzie and Ella both fall for two different boys at school. They want to be identified as who ‘they’ are not as a carbon copy of their sisters. They don’t want to live this life of secrecy anymore.

Sean Kelly, Lizzie’s secret boyfriend becomes the first person they tell of their secret life. He accepts it but does not agree with it and with his support and help the three sisters start on a journey to uncover the secrets their mother has been hiding for so many years.

Can they live with the answers they find? Will life ever be normal for them?

Other than knowing the sisters are clones the author does not dwell on the scientific end of cloning. She explores instead the identities of the sisters and their family relationships.
