Little Bill has been sent to his room for telling a lie. He was trying to cover up why he was late. Now, as he sits in his room he tells the story of the Boy Who Cried Wolf. This is a fairly direct story about the trouble a lie can create and Little Bill will see himself through his folktale and begin to realize the consequences of fibbing. Though the story line is pretty straightforward, the vibrant illustrations warm the pages and invite the reader to feel comfortable walking in the shoes of this eventually sorry little guy.
