Maybelle is a bug who lives in an apartment with humans. She is tired of eating crumbs off the floor. She wants bigger and better thngs in her world. Her friend, also a bug, tells her not to dream so big. Be satisfied with what you have or you just might get stepped on. But the day comes when the family in the apartment invites some very important company over for dinner. Maybelle ends up being the main course....well, almost. It's fun and funny and the characters are delightful. Happily it's a series.

I hope this doesn't bug you too much, but Maybelle is a cockroach who lives in the home of the Peabody's. Normally, Maybelle knows all the rules and follows them. "If you're spied, better hide." "If it's light, stay out of sight." But the call of the wild chocolate cookie is stronger than Maybelle's dedication to the rules. This is a really fun series about Maybelle and her bug friends. Nothing ever seems to go as planned and her life is constantly crossing paths with the humans who unwittingly host her in their home.
