Matilda

Matilda is a special little girl. Before she even started school, she was more well-read than adults even older than your parents. She could even do the hardest multiplication tables in her head in a matter of seconds! The only problem is that she had the most terrible, frightful, dreadful, appalling parents in the whole world. They cared more about watching TV and playing bingo than acknowledging her existence!

When Matilda finally starts school, she meets Miss Honey, the sweetest and most caring teacher anyone could ever find. However, the school is run by Miss Trunchbull who throws kids out windows or locks them away in cabinets and Miss Trunchbull has it out for little Matilda for no good reason at all.

See how Matilda turns her life around and see for yourself what prank is best played for revenge on any of the rotten people in her life. Will it be superglue on a hat, an imaginary burglary, or something even greater than even you could imagine?

Matilda was a wonderful book! I enjoy to see how smart she is and her love of books. I recommend it to any and every person! I also enjoyed her meeting her nice teacher and then having to unravel the relation to her and the evil headmistress. After reading it, it made me want to read more books like Matilda. Reading this book also helped me get into reading even more books by Roald Dahl. This book is time well spent to read.

i really like this book because i think it is very interesting how smart she can be, when she has never, ever been to school!i mean this girl have never been to school, but when she was 4 years old she walked 10 blocks to the library by herself! and until she was 6 and a half years old she has survived on nothing but books!matilda is very self controlling. she never gets mad easily and she is very easy going. if i had to use one word to describe this book... it would probably be magical. i would recomend this book to people who enjoy fantasy and adventure
