Here it is! The third and final book in the Knuffle Bunny series. Knuffle Bunny and Trixie and her parents are off on an adventure. They are flying on an airplane all the way to Holland to see their grandparents. Combining comic illustrations with real photographs, Mo Willems create a feeling of authenticity. You feel the airplane seats and look out the window right along with the other passengers. Then, here we are: Holland! Hooray! In the rush and excitement as we get off the plane, someone is left behind and that someone is you guessed it-Knuffle Bunny and who is now on the way to China. When Trixie suddenly realizes that Knuffle Bunny is missing, no words are necessary. Her parents know the "look" instantly. Cold chocolate milk does not erase the pain but there is nothing to do but wait. Journeys and stories do not always end the way we expect and that is precisely the case here. Mo's sense of comedic timing and powerful emotional connection are beyond alive and well...they are thriving as always along with a bit of poignancy as life moves on. 52 pages Ages 3-8
