What's the worst thing that could happen if you spilled your milk?  You'd have to clean it up, right?  What if you forget your umbrella...fall down.... change your mind about going off the high dive....feel shy?

Every "mistake" or tough moment you have can magically become a wonderful thing.  Maybe if you forget your umbrella, someone nice will offer to share theirs and you'll make a new friend.  If you fall down, more than likely you WILL decide to get back up.  If you change your mind about the high dive, you can come down and maybe another day you'll decide to climb back up and give it a try.

This highly encouraging book can send young listeners out into the world with a great attitude about all the fumblng and bumbling and forgetting and being wrong that awaits them.  We adults who are reading the story know all too well how fragile we are and it's nice to read these words as a reminder to us too.

Be kind to others and don't forget to be kind to yourself.
