It really is the little things that count! Here we are at the post office and a mother is waiting in line with her small daughter tucked into her umbrella stroller. The little girl pops out ready to connect with the world. "Hi!" she says to big people all around her. One by by and two by two they don't respond either not noticing her or being too busy with what they're doing to react. How frustrating to be invisible! Then, our knight in shining armor arrives-the postal clerk has a big smile for this little one and her day is made. She's so confident now that her hi turns into bye as she and Mom head off for the rest of their day. 32 pages
