Henry's mother wants fresh eggs, fresh corn and fresh blueberries. Yum and yum yum and yum yum yummy! That can only mean one thing and that's a trip out to the country. The family, including Mudge, of course, piles in the car and heads to the French's farm. There are animals everywhere. Mudge and Henry meet a goat who tries to eat Henry's shirt and a hen who tries to peck Mudge on the head....not that concrete head! There is something fun everywhere the two buddies turn until they meet the goose. Honk!!!! This goose is not happy to see these two strangers in her land. She has her own style of goose chase and she does the chasing. The two friends run back to the safety of the farmhouse. Everything is bigger in the country...including Mudge's bark!
