Annabelle is writing letters to her grandmother on the computer to teach herself how to use the keyboard. I don't think I quite liked Annabelle when I first met her. She seemed a bit about herself, but gradually as she writes to her grandmother about all of the important things in her life, Annabelle starts to change. She eventually shares with her grandmother why she and her best friend aren't best friends anymore. It's a problem about cheating on a test. Then, Annabelle begins to think about someone other than herself. It's a thoughtful story.
