Gilberto loves to play with the wind. He watches it blow the clothes on the line, the gate to the pasture and the grass in the meadow. Sometimes wind helps the big boys lift their kites high into the sky but he doesnt' help Gilberto with his kite at all. When fall comes, friend wind knocks an apple down from the tree and sails his paper boat around the pond. Some things Gilberto can do and the wind can't. Like making bubbles or holding a pinwheel. Sometimes wind is so strong he knocks down trees. Sometimes wind is so gentle you barely kinow he's there. But, when Gilberto whispers to the wind, he gets a soft reply. 32 pages
