Frog has been waiting for Toad to wake up and now it is April and it is spring and Frog runs to Toad's house to tell him it's time to get up. But Toad does not want to get up. He tells Frog to come back in May. Frog will be lonely if Toad does not get up. So, he carefully tears all the pages off of Toad's calendar to convince him it is now May. Charming. Classy. This is a classic early reader book that most children really enjoy. Frog and Toad are very different characters who are sharing adventures and everyday doings with each other. Their friendship and encouragement of each other are truly endearing. Wouldn't you love to have a friend who wouldn't look at you in your bathing suit? Who would help you find lost buttons? Who would share with you and care about you? These are wonderful friends living life well and they make great role models for our children. 64 pages Ages 4-7
