It's the first day of school for Penelope Rex, and she can't wait to meet her classmates. But it's hard to make human friends when they're so darn delicious! That is, until Penelope gets a taste of her own medicine and finds she may not be at the top of the food chain after all. . . .

"Penelope Rex is nervous. It's not everyday a little T. rex starts school? Will the other kids be scary she wonders? How many teeth will they have?
The first day arrives and Penelope, her pony backpack and her lunch of 300 tuna sandwiches are ready to go. When she gets to school she discovers her classmates are children. How fantastic. Children are delicious. So she eats them.
"We don't eat our classmates," says Mrs. Noodleman. "Spit them out."
Turns out Penelope has a little something to learn about getting along with others. Now she knows, it's hard to make friends when you eat them for snack.
