Brownie and Pearl Step Out

Brownie has a wonderful friend named Pearl and Pearl is a cat. One day the two friends "step out" to go to a party. Brownie is shy and scared but luckily Pearl has enough courage for both of them. Pearl goes right into that party via the cat door! So, Brownie follows, of course, and finds herself playing games, eating cake and ice cream and just having a great time. Brownie and Pearl are very glad they went to the party! This is a picture book that is written as an early reader. Bright, bold illustrations and very appealing characters give the book a happy feel. It looks like this will be a series of eight books.
