Good for Reluctant Readers?

When seventeen-year-old Tony Kim was left in charge of his father’s Magic Shop for several weeks, he expected nothing more exciting than a spell to make the local werewolf look like a fox. He certainly didn’t expect to deal with a black skull or black magic.

This is an engaging story with enough "scary" to keep readers, male and female, going. Plenty of action, fast moving, short paragraphs and chapters. British English may confuse some readers, but they should get it contextually and there are only a couple of terms.  Great for grades 4 up, good reluctant reader along with any reader.

I totally enjoyed the story.
