Angel in My Pocket

“Besides, this coin was something special…and he wanted to have some of that specialness for himself.”

A small angel coin falls into the hands of four students connected to a school that focuses on the performing arts.  The first student (whose mother has recently died) is struggling to find her voice and resume her singing.   The second student does not fit in at school and steals the talisman because he desperately needs some luck in his life. The third student gives the talisman to his twin sister who is struggling to return to school after a long bout of illness.  All four students somehow get what they need whiles the talisman is in their hands.  A word of caution, there is strong language in the book which makes it more suitable for middle school students.  The reader may miss the references to angels in the book.
