Trixie and Daddy are off to the laundromat to do the family wash. Happily, Trixie gets to help stuff the clothes into the washer. Then, it's time to walk home again. Suddenly, Trixie realizes that Knuffle Bunny is missing. She tries with every bone in her body to tell her Daddy that Knuffle Bunny isn't with them anymore. Dad just doesn't understand but when they get home Mom instantly knows what has gone wrong and the entire family races back to the laundromat to solve the mystery of the disappearance of the one and only Knuffle Bunny. Mo Willems uses photographs of real homes and businesses in Brooklyn to create a sense of emotional truth in this book. And as always his simply drawn characters shout with emotion and great fun. Ages 4-8.
