Noh is a short name for a girl named Noleen-Anne Harris Morgan Maypother. Her mother died right after she was born and her father takes long trips away from home chasing bugs for a living. When Noh is sent to stay with her Aunt Sarah who teaches English literature at the New Newbridge Academy, mysterious things begin to happen to her. As Noh begins to explore the boarding school, she meets a bunch of ghosts who also live there. She is suddenly friends with ghosts named Henry, Thomas, Hubert, Trina and Nelly. Luckily Noh has an evil eye stone to help her when she sets out to solve the mystery of the school and to find out what evil is at work. The story gets even creepier when the ghosts begin to disappear and a nasty thing begins following Noh around. 256 pages
