At the age of 10, he discovers he has the ability to hear conversations and thoughts, when he looks at photographs. When his relatives discover his talent, they are delighted and have him sent off to Bloor's Academy for gifted children. Charlie is a descendant of the Red King, and, hence, has magical powers, but once he arrives at the school, Charlie finds all is not right. A girl has gone missing… the headmaster is not a nice guy ... and the adventure begins.
