It has been over a year since Luna’s mother was struck and killed by a taxi. When Luna goes to visit her mom’s studio she finds her cell phone with 7 unheard messages. She decides to listen to them one at a time because she is afraid to listen to them all at once. As she listens though she finds out that maybe things were not what they seemed.
How and why did her mother really die? Was she living a lie before she died? With the help of her dreamy neighbor Oliver she starts on a quest to find answers. While searching for those answers she meets Daria, a model just like her mother. Daria is instrumental in helping her get her first one-women show for her photography. With Luna’s search for her mother, a romance blooming and Luna getting her own photography show there is always something happening.
Sometimes it seems hard to believe that a 15-year-old would have so much good luck (photography show and meeting a model) but Luna is from a high profile family. Her mother was a famous model and her dad is a famous film producer. So maybe these things could really happen. But there was still plenty of appeal for young girls to read and totally enjoy this book. 289 p.
