The two boys struggle with each other and then struggle with the battle raging between the farmers and the cattlemen in their community.  A powerful and touching story of fathers and sons and finding your identity when you can no longer be the person you were expected to be.  

The relationship between father and son is poignant and painful.  The competition and evolving relationship between the two boys is filled with hope and the truth that two stories are always unfolding when two human beings are connecting with each other. So important to learn to stand in the other's shoes.
