Whirligig

Brent is finally going to be cool. He's headed to a party and all set to impress, but, quickly, the girl of his dreams humiliates him, and he leaves the party destroyed, drunk and out of control. On the way home he decides to kill himself and lets his car crash into an oncoming vehicle. Brent does not die, however; the girl, Lea, who was driving the oncoming vehicle does. Lea's parents give Brent a task. He is to take four whirligigs and a bus ticket and travel to all of the places where Lea was scheduled to go that summer. Stop after stop and person after person, Brent struggles to forgive himself.
