Wedgieman and the Big Bunny Trouble (Step Into Reading)

Veggieman opens the story by changing the letter on the front of his superhero suit from a V to a W. He is about to leave behind his identity as Veggieman and become Wedgieman because that's the name the children like best. He's off to do good things.

Meanwhile, Bad Dude has invented a fabulous new machine he calls POOP. Yes, a little bathroom humor goes a long way with some readers-in-training. Bad Dude has had it with the cute bunnies of the world and he's designed his POOP machine to make some things bigger and some things smaller. Right now, he's making a super sized bee to go scare off the cute little fuzzy bunny. Uh oh. The cute little fuzzy bunny has run in front of the POOP machine and is now a Giant Bunny.

Bad Dude has a big problem. Will Wedgieman be able to save the day? Will he give himself a wedgie?

Spectacular pacing keeps the over the top action and humor hopping along and the pages turning. Great for Jokester early readers.

Recommended by: Barb Langridge, ********* Bad Dude, who we met in Wedgieman to the Rescue, is up to no good again. This time, he's using his evil Powerful Ordinary-Object Phaser (also known as POOP) to change the size of things. He's created giant bees and giant bunnies who wind up terrorizing him until Wedgieman saves the day and puts the giant phaser out of commission.Beginning readers (and their caregivers) will howl with delight over the ka-pow! humor and blam! illustrations.

Step 3 Readers feature engaging characters in easy-to-follow plots about popular topics—for children who are ready to read on their own.
