Warrior's Heart: Becoming a Man of Courage and Compassion

Eric Greitens is an exceptional man. He grew up like a normal guy, reading Choose Your Own Adventure books and keeping his grade point average high so he could find his path to success in college. As a young man, he traveled to China to teach English and met young people who asked him important questions about freedom and democracy.

He went to refugee camps in Bosnia and watched teens struggle to find identity and purpose. He saw tragedy in the camps of Rwanda. As a Rhodes Scholar, he was educated to fight the world's battles and that is why at the age of 26, he decided to live his beliefs and applied to the U.S. Navy SEAL program.

This is his story of what led him to his decision and what it was like to compete to be a SEAL. The description of the SEAL training is staggering. The stories of his time in battle in Iraq and what he did when he came home are inspiring.

This is a true hero and the determination, courage and grit shine through.
