Walt Disney's Peter Pan

If you're a purist who loves the real Peter Pan with the richness of its writing, you may not be thrilled to hear that Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson have decided to make a picture book out of it for Disney. Sigh. But, if you enjoy just about everything Dave Barry writes, as I do, you may want to just set all of that aside for a minute and thumb through the book. This is the bones of the story for sure. The characters all show up. Imagine for a moment you're at Disney World and you have gotten onto a ride. You are going to see all the characters and all the elements of the story and the ride is fun. The best part is you have Dave Barry's wit sneaking out of the page every so often which makes it hilarious as usual. Nice for younger listeners who aren't ready for the real story although I've worked with parents who have read Peter Pan to 4 and 7 year old siblings.
