Wall and the Wing

Imagine a city where almost everyone can fly. Those few people who can't fly are called leadfoots. One night, an orphan named Gurl, discovers that although she can't fly, she can do something even greater. She has a very special magical power. Then, Mrs. Terwiliger, the nasty woman who runs the orphanage, finds out about Gurl's ability and starts forcing her to steal and do other unlawful things. Gurl makes friends with a boy named Bug, who is determined to learn to fly. The two, along with a very unique cat, team up to solve the mystery of what's going on in this city and to overcome the evil forces at work.
