Turkey is in big trouble. He's a turkey and it's almost Thanksgiving. Think main course. He's a wily fellow though and he figures if he can just disguise himself as another farm animal, he'll escape the platter. So, he tries pretending to be a horse and a cow and a pig and a rooster and nothing seems quite right. He's too short, too thin, you get the idea. The costumes are hilarious and the book is a real hoot.

*****************

Turkey is in trouble. Bad trouble. The kind of trouble where it’s almost Thanksgiving…and you’re the main course.

But Turkey has an idea―what if he doesn’t look like a turkey? What if he looks like another animal instead?

After many hilarious attempts, Turkey comes up with the perfect disguise to make this Thanksgiving the best ever! Wendi Silvano’s comical story is perfectly matched by Lee Harper’s watercolors.---from the publisher
