Trapped

When a pig falls off of a truck, he is rescued by some children who want to care for him. They never expect to find themselves in danger, but they are now up against the pig's owner who lives a life of a crime. Thank goodness there is Pete, the cat, who is working behind the scenes to solve the mystery of what is going on. This story sheds light on the oft frustrating and confusing process of animal rescue. This story takes on the concerns of animal rescue and balances that serious feeling with the voice of the cat, a born detective.
