Prosper and Bo are brothers who have fled to Venice to stay together. They end up living by their wits, as they are being pursued by a detective who has been hired by their aunt to find them. This is reminiscent of the Baker Street Irregulars perhaps, with a sense of children joining together to survive against the world with no adult to protect or guide them.
