Imagine a singing and dancing mouse!  Using a singing text written in a squiggly style, the reader is introduced to Thelonious Mouse who has the "music in him."  He is chased by the family cat, but he can't resist messing with this cat.  Thelonious even encouraged his brothers and sisters to mess with this cat and would play by himself near the cat.  When Thelonious is chased by the cat, he has to hide in a child's dollhouse.  Thelonious sings a lullaby to put the cat to sleep and accompanies the lullaby on a tiny piano.  The sharing of music becomes the basis for the friendship between the mouse and the cat.  They even become a duet team!  Glad Cat, his new name, leaves all the mice alone and enjoys beautiful music with his new friendship, Thelonious Mouse.
