This book is about the youngest princess who doesn't seem to be gifted with any of the beauty or special abilities granted to her sisters. She is, in fact, quite ordinary. Yet she is thrust into an adventure to save her family and may learn that ordinary can also be extra-ordinary. This is a fun book with a strong female main character who is discovering that accepting yourself as who you are is the greatest gift of all. It was written by a reading specialist and has a big push (but not obnoxious) for literacy skills and reading throughout the book.
