One day in the forest a bunny finds something red and square lying on the ground. He wonders what it is and decides it will make the perfect house for him. But cozy as he is, this will not last long. Along comes a bear and takes the red square for his new hat. And so it goes as different animals come upon the object and create a whole new use for the strange thing. Then, a little boy walks through the woods and he finds the object and he instantly knows what it is and how to share it. Throughout the story, the listeners will know exactly what they're looking at and exactly what it is used for and will have the fun of knowing much more than the animals and eventually, the fun of feeling the magic of the amazing possibilities that can be shared by reading a book. 32 pages Ages 4-8 A great read aloud!
