The Savage Damsel and the Dwarf (The Squire's Tales)

Sixteen year old Lynet has had enough of watching knights fall under the sword of the Red Knight as they try to win her sister, Lyonesse's, hand in marriage. Lynet has great gumption and decides to risk all and ride to King Arthur to beg for assistance and a knight to fight the evil Red chap. As Lynet journeys she meets a cast of characters some of whom may not be quite what they appear on the surface. There is great fun with the Camelot cadre as the characters mimic each other's courtly language and refuse to fight duels to win the hand of any fair lady. This is a remarkable series that lends itself a smidge to those who love Monty Python's shenanigans. Quests and quirks supply the entertainment and the laughs. 210 pages The Squire's Tales series continues.
