Ronnie is being positive. She is rowing with the flow. She is determined to take charge of her life, but this is difficult given that Mom hurts her knee badly when the squirrel drowns in the toilet, and someone is going to have to step in to take care of Ronnie and Gee. That someone appears to be Grandpa, who drives up in his RV and takes on Gee, with his ADHD, and Ronnie and heads off across Kansas to convince folks that wind power is the way. Grandpa never expected the bed-wetting, the hair on fire, the dog or the searching. Ronnie is about to learn more about life than her book could ever teach her. Ages 9-13 220 pages
