Sixteen year old Luneta is overjoyed when her parents decide to send her off to live with her mother's beautiful friend. Lady Luneta begins her journey and is accompanied by her cousin, Ywain and an attractive young man named Rhience who has turned his back on knighthood and is playing the fool for a year's time. Off they go with Rhience's comments providing some comic relief and Ywain's dreams of battle providing entertaining possibilities. Once at the castle the plot thickens and Gerald Morris offers us a romantic yarn with the magic of Morgan Le Fay and the enough twists and turns to keep you eagerly awaiting the next witty phrase. As always, Monty Pythonesque vignettes dot the journey with the nobility of Camelot setting the scenery. The Squire's Tales series continues. 350 pages Ages 9-13
