It's wonderful to share the classics with our children and this vibrant picture book offers Rudyard Kipling's story of The Jungle Book on terms our young listeners can enjoy.

Here is the story of the young man-cub, Mowgli, and how he came to live with a wolf pack.  Baloo, the bear, and Bagheera, the panther, are his teachers.  The tiger, Shere Khan, lurks as his enemy.

How wonderful that Mowgli has learned the sounds and signs of the natural world all around him. What a beautiful heritage.  If he chooses to leave the jungle, he'll gain all the good things in the world of man. What will he lose?

Can we in turn reach back into the natural world for the knowledge and awareness we have left behind?

A gentle introduction to an important classic tale.
