Puck explains that Ethan has been taken into the Nevernever and replaced with a changeling, a vicious little faery who will attack anyone. Meghan makes the decision to travel with Puck into the Nevernever to rescue her little brother. While there, she forms an alliance with Ash, a Winter Prince, and Grim, a cat, in order to find Ethan. Meghan is attracted to Ash, but will a relationship be forbidden between them when she finds out information about her true identity? (363 pages)
